I went through the spec sheet, the official policies, and a stack of hands-on reviews to see if it earns that rating.
What’s inside it
The D3 runs on an 18650 lithium-ion cell rated at 10000mAh, paired with a brushless motor and three speed levels. Warmco’s own spec sheet lists 10 to 28 hours of runtime depending on speed, and one independent hands-on review clocked the lowest setting at close to 24 hours straight.
Charging goes through USB-C, and the brand states a full charge takes about 2.5 hours at 5V/2.4A. The housing is Tairilac ABS Pellets, the same material Warmco uses across its handheld and neck fan lines.
What buyers are actually saying
A 4.6 average across 1,200-plus reviews is a strong number at that volume. Hands-on write-ups consistently praise two things: how quiet it runs on low, and how the battery genuinely lasts through an 8 to 10 hour night on medium.
One independent reviewer measured the unit at roughly 402 grams and 4 centimeters thick, thin enough to slide into a backpack pocket. The same review also tested the battery as a phone charger, getting multiple full iPhone charges out of a single fan charge.
Where it falls short
There’s no timer or auto-shutoff, so it runs until you turn it off or the battery dies. It also has no built-in light, unlike Warmco’s own W1 waist fan. If you want a fan that doubles as a camp lantern, this isn’t that model.
