What It’s Supposed to Do
The Dolce Lace Thigh Bands are two lace bands you wear around your upper thighs. A thin silicone strip runs along the top inside edge to keep them from sliding.
The idea is simple. Instead of your thighs rubbing together, the lace fabric sits between them. No shorts, no cream, no bulk under a dress.
What Buyers Liked
Megan wore hers under her wedding dress instead of full shapewear and said she’s kept wearing them since. Jessica said she wore a pair for 8 hours with no rolling at all.
Wednesday, another reviewer, called them “great quality, stretchy” and said they look cute peeking out from under shorts. Wendy described them simply as “a stylish way to prevent thigh rub on hot days.”
A theme across the positive reviews: people stopped noticing they were wearing them by the end of the day. That’s basically the best outcome for a product like this.
What Buyers Didn’t Like
Not every review was glowing, and I’m not going to pretend otherwise. One buyer, Misty, said the silicone rubbed against her skin and that one pair fused together after a long walk, which she had to pry apart.
A few others mentioned sizing running slightly small. Bandelettes’ own sizing guide says to size down when you’re between two measurements, so some of this looks like a sizing mismatch rather than a product flaw.
Still, the silicone-rubbing complaint came up more than once, so if you have sensitive skin, that’s worth knowing going in.
