Out of everything in simplyWORKOUT’s grip sock wall, the Arebesk Tight Dallas x Chili Pepper Crew Grip Socks stood out for a specific reason. Most grip socks I looked at lean on one style of grip. This one leans on a patented system with reinforcement placed exactly where your foot actually slides.
At $20, it’s priced right in the middle of simplyWORKOUT’s sock lineup. I went through the full spec sheet to see what that $20 actually buys.
What it’s made of
The sock itself is an 80% cotton, 20% spandex knit, which puts it on the stretchier end of the grip socks I compared. The grip is Arebesk’s patented system, with extra silicone reinforcement built into the heel and the ball of the foot specifically, rather than a single flat panel running the length of the sole.
That placement matters more than it sounds. Heel and ball of foot are where most of the sliding happens during barre and Pilates transitions, so reinforcing those two zones directly addresses the spot where cheaper socks tend to fail first.
The design, and what’s in the box
This particular colorway is a collaboration piece: a white crew sock with chili pepper graphics, a “Tight N’ Spicy” wordmark, and a metallic 3D stamp of a classic teaser pose. It’s a playful print rather than a plain solid, which tracks with how much of Arebesk’s catalog leans toward statement colorways over basics.

Care
Arebesk’s instructions are specific: machine wash warm, line dry, no bleach, no iron. Skipping the tumble dryer is the biggest factor in keeping silicone grip from cracking or peeling over time.
