Out of everything Karseell sells, one product drives almost all the brand’s TikTok attention: the Collagen Hair Treatment, a 500ml deep-repair mask that reportedly sold over 40,000 units in a single month on Amazon. One listing for it carries a 4.98 out of 5 rating across 690 ratings. I went through a wide spread of those reviews, plus the ingredient claims and usage instructions, to see if it earns that number.
What it’s made of
The formula centers on hydrolyzed collagen, Moroccan argan oil, maca essence, and natural herbs. Karseell markets it as sulfate-free and paraben-free, and says it’s safe for all hair types, including color-treated and chemically processed hair.

How to use it
Shampoo first, then apply the mask to damp, not soaking, hair. Focus on the lengths and ends, and avoid the scalp.
Leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes, longer for very dry or damaged hair, then rinse with lukewarm or cool water to help seal the cuticle. Most reviewers who saw the best results used it two to three times a week, easing back to once or twice a week once hair felt repaired.
What buyers are actually saying
The positive reviews are specific, not just glowing. Buyers describe curls regaining definition, hair extensions looking noticeably smoother, and a real drop in breakage and shedding after a few uses. Several compared the after-feel to “a silk pillowcase.”
The complaints cluster around two things: a fragrance some buyers found overwhelming, and hair feeling greasy or weighed down, occasionally enough to need a second wash. A handful of reviewers also reported irritation and suspected they’d received a counterfeit jar rather than the genuine formula.

Against Olaplex No. 3, the closest premium comparison, Karseell trades chemical bond-repair technology for a natural oil and collagen formula at roughly half the price. For everyday dryness and color-treated hair, that trade-off tends to favor Karseell. For severely chemically damaged hair, Olaplex still has the stronger reputation. Should you buy it
If you want noticeably softer, glossier hair without a salon-tier price tag, this mask has the review volume to back up the hype. Buy from an authorized seller, patch test if you’re fragrance-sensitive, and don’t skip the shampoo-first step or you’ll end up in the “too greasy” camp of reviewers.
