It weighs 26.8 lbs, which CleanTechnica clocked at roughly 20 to 30% lighter than comparable rigid panels in its power class. Max power voltage sits at 38V, and it ships with a 4-in-1 connector system covering MC4, XT60, Anderson, and DC variants.
ZOUPW lists this panel at $499.99 on its own site. CleanTechnica’s review noted a promotional price of $459.99 at the time of testing, so it’s worth checking the current listing for any active discount before you buy.
What the independent test found
CleanTechnica tested this panel in southwestern New Mexico and consistently measured the full 450W rated output on sunny days, with over 400W recorded any time solar irradiance topped 800 W/m². The reviewer, who owned earlier-generation portable panels for comparison, said this one “produced more power than those similarly-sized units” while being noticeably easier to set up and pack away.
That’s a meaningfully better real-world showing than ZOUPW’s smaller 200W foldable panel, which OutdoorGearLab separately measured at just 72% of its rated output. The larger panels in this lineup appear to deliver on their spec sheet more reliably than the entry-level ones do.

ZOUPW’s own reviews page shows 474 five-star ratings out of 501 total across its catalog, a 95% positive rate, with this 450W panel among the most-reviewed single products on the site. Recurring praise across the store’s reviews centers on panels beating their rated wattage, quick folding setup, and sturdy build.
The main complaint pattern I found, separate from this specific panel, involves the fold-out kickstand hinges on ZOUPW’s foldable line breaking with repeated use. ZOUPW’s support reportedly ships free replacement hinges when contacted, but it’s worth handling the stand gently and avoiding overextending it on uneven ground.

If you want a 450W panel that has actually been independently tested to hit its rated output, without paying premium-brand pricing, this is a reasonable pick.
